LUBOA non-invasive, externally worn excretion management system
A new way toManage Excretion
No absorption. Nothing inserted into the body. Excretion is collected directly, outside the body. The system includes female and male urine interfaces and a stool interface.

As the body becomes less able, the burden falls on both the patient and the care team.
Excretion care is a challenge shared by patients and the people who care for them.

Physical and emotional burden
The less able the body, the heavier excretion care becomes.
Repeated checking, changing and disposal
The same full process repeats several times a day.
Consumables, storage and disposal
Purchasing, storage, use and disposal all add operational load.
No absorption. No insertion. Direct collection outside the body.
LUBOA collects excretion directly outside the body, a different approach from absorbent or indwelling products.
Excretion is collected directly outside the body.
Only the collection bag is detached and replaced.
| The LUBOA approach | Absorbent diaper | Internal / indwelling | ![]() |
|---|---|---|---|
| Principle | Absorption | Drained from inside the body | Direct external collection |
| Application | Worn externally | Inserted into the body | Attached externally |
| Excretion | Absorbed in the product | Drained through a tube | Collection bag |
| Replacement | Entire product | Depends on care conditions | Bag only |
Urine and stool interfaces
Choose the interface for the area of use. All work the same way: the interface stays, only the bag is changed.

LUBOA's key features are supported by its product structure and test data.
- 01
Worn externally
The interface attaches to the skin outside the body; nothing is inserted.
- 02
Direct collection
The central opening leads straight into the collection bag, so excretion collects in the bag.
- 03
Backflow prevention
The bag connection is designed so collected excretion does not flow back out.
- 04
Secure fit and leak reduction
The adhesive rim and the waistband with straps hold the interface in place together.
A small difference per patient becomes an operational difference across the facility.
